Amber Lee was absolutely petrified of everything and everyone.  Completely shut down when she arrived.  We had to chase her around the yard and corral her in.  She's come along way and now likes to snuggle next to you on the couch.  She has a long way to go to be a "normal" beagle-but she's come so far!  She is not fully housetrained-but she's close.  She is good in the crate.  She's terrified to travel so we always use the crate and lots of treats.  She is also terrified of the leash but we are trying to get her used to a harness and working on the leash.  It's a work in progress!
Amber Lee loves children and other dogs.  She's getting more used to being allowed in the kitchen and is excited for her meals now and treats. 
Amber Lee will require a fenced in yard.  She also will need a very loving and patient family to help bring her to her full potential.
