Beagle : : Male (neutered) : : Adult
Charlie has been an enjoyable boy to foster. He gets along well with our two male dogs, Bodie (Beagle) & Bandit (Jack Russell). He has adjusted well to our routines of feeding, boundaries and house-training. This is not to say that he hasn't had some episodes of marking indoors, but it has improved greatly since he first arrived on Jan 7. He has not shown any aggression toward other dogs or people, even when our cranky Jack Russell snarls at him...which he has done to ALL canine house guests over the years. Charlie is content to be crated during the day when we are at work, and at night for sleeping. When we are home, he wants to interact with everyone, play with toys, rest in a dog bed and hang out in the kitchen in hopes of fallen treats. He has a hearty AROO!, which he is not afraid to share with everyone (especially in the back yard) when the mood strikes. Again, all bark...no bite, he's a softy. He will be neutered soon, which will do nothing but further improve his already pleasant manners.
