I am the Lovely Lucy! Look into my soft brown eyes and dare to disagree. I have the most beautiful brindle fur coat with a chocolate saddle on my back. I am taller than most beagles, so they look up to me and my beauty. Of course you can see why. Because I am a princess, I know my manners indoors and I don't need to be crated. I'm quite spoiled and have been fed very well, but I know I must trim down to my once girlish figure to maintain health and balance. I have cut back my K-Calories and am taking fish oil to restore my energy level and coat sheen. I sometimes get rashes on my belly, but when I trim up, I won't have that problem anymore.

I am no longer in the realm I grew up in, this makes me cautious of people I do not know, including little people and it takes me some time to get to know them.

I have come to what must be a luxurious health spa, with its big backyard to romp and play, yummy Wellness kibble & treats for diet improvement and two walks a day! I feel as though I am in Heaven. I can tell they know me as royalty, because I receive hugs and kisses whenever I enter the room. Right now, I am without a kingdom, do you think your home could be the next castle for me?

03-29-09 - here's the latest update on me: I have now lost a total of 9 pounds! Check out the new me in the first two pictures below. All others are the old me. I am gaining my energy back and I feel great! This is a direct result of playing at the bark park, romping with my foster buddy Dusty, really tasty healthy kibble and those wonderful twice daily walks.

04-16-09 - The top photo and the first two below were taken on this date.  I love going to the Bark Park...it is my favorite thing!  I am meeting lots of dogs and people, they're actually quite nice and fun to play with.  I love to lay in the pool to cool off after running many laps with my Aussie and German Shepard friends at my favorite Paw Playground on Collier Parkway.  I am fast and I am going to catch my Aussie friend once I get more weight off and muscle built up.  You should see me go...

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
