Scarlett is a social butterfly. She often likes to be in the middle of the party! She likes to be the one to get all of the attention. Scarlett is into chewing and playing. She'll play fetch, especially if someone else is playing.
Scarlett jumps up on things sometimes but knows it's inappropriate and will stop with gentle correction in the form of "Off Scarlett." She responds to her name very well, and is pretty energetic and hyper overall!
Scarlett appears completely house-trained in regards to going to the bathroom. We have not left her out of her crate if we are gone longer than 10 minutes, however, due to her chewing and jumping tendencies. She will go to the bathroom immediately in the morning before playing and does well in our fenced yard.
There are two cats where Scarlett is living and she does well with both of them. She does not care about the big cat, but still shows a bit of interest in the little one. There is no aggression at all. Just being a pup with a cat. Scarlett appears comfortable both outside and inside. She doesn't mind getting picked up and held at all, and will often jump into your lap or arms. She forces you to cuddle sometimes, which is very cute! She is a bit rough however in this same regard, often jumping in your lap when you're not ready and without regard to where she kicks you! It is all in good spirits though, and can be corrected if it becomes a problem! She walks very well on a leash by herself, or on a leash splitter with a second dog.
Scarlett has a voracious appetite and will eat all day every day. She runs full speed to her crate when we get the food bowls out, and usually wants to leave as soon as she's done.
Scarlett will sleep through the night in her own crate without barking.
Scarlett is overall a very loving and hyper young girl! She can exert her energy and become a lazy bone. Most days she'll play really hard for a couple of hours, then be zonked for a few hours, and repeat 1-2 times a day. She is very cute and cuddly and likes to play with humans and dogs. Scarlett would probably be better in a house with another dog to tire her out, or an owner who has the time to take her on a long walk daily.
