Herbie came to us from Georgia. A volunteer from Pennsylvania started the relay, and many people helped to get him to TBBR. 

He has settled in nicely at his foster home. Like so many of the dogs we rescue, he had not been neutered and his teeth were in pretty bad shape. He was recently neutered and had a dental. The vet had to remove 20 teeth! He is on the mend now under the watchful eye of his foster Mom. 

Herbie is a very sweet dog. He loves everyone – people (adults and children) and dogs, big and small and he travels well in a car. He enjoys his daily walks and daily naps. He is a little on the chunky side, and his foster is working to get him to a healthy weight. 

Herbie would be ideal for a senior citizen or anyone who loves senior dogs.

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
