Say hello to Zimba! He's a young, tiny beagle mix - VERY high energy. He's quite the acrobat and can jump from chair to sofa with ease. He can also jump over a 26" baby gate.

Zimba was an owner surrender. He appears to be housetrained, good on a leash and crate trained. He happily spends the night in his crate and sleeps in it during the day with the door open  or closed. Zimba learned how to use the doggie door at his foster home right away. He knows some commands and will dance for a treat.

He is definitely not good with cats. He is a bit high strung and might not be the best choice for a family with very young children. 

Zimba is mostly quiet (except for barking at the cat). The only other time he barked was when someone came to the front door. He would probably be a great little dog for an apartment or condo. He is good with the 10 y.o. female beagle in the house, but does tend to pester her. We think Zimba would be fine as an only dog.
