Decker is a young guy, and a little taller than many beagles, so he may be mixed with another type of hound.

He has a good energy level and really wants to play. His current foster brothers are older and do not want to play, and Decker seems to understand and respect those boundaries.

Decker does very well in his crate both at night and when his foster leaves the house. He has not had any accidents except for the night he first arrived in his foster home. He learned the doggie door almost immedately. After an initial tumble into the pool, he has learned to stay away from the edge.

He takes correction very well and stops unwanted behavior immediately, coming over to his foster for a snuggle after. He loves to go for walks but needs a bit of training on leash manners.

Decker will be a wonderful fit for a family who has the time and energy. He has so much love to give!!
