Beagle : : Female (spayed) : : Young : : Medium
Holly has never been in a shelter--her owner just decided she didn't want her and locked her out of the back yard and moved to her boyfriend's house. Poor Holly had been roaming the neighborhood for weeks scrounging for food and animal control finally caught up with her. Fortunately, the animal control officer crossed paths with a wonderful rescuer who previously lived and rescued animals in Pasco co Florida. She was able to take Holly and save her from a terrible fate in the shelter.
Her rescuer decided that with abandoned hunting dogs everywhere in this rural Alabama county it was definitely no place for a sweet doggie like Holly. She appealed to TBBR for help and so Holly made the long trek to Florida to find her forever home. She does not dig and is not very vocal, but will climb a 4ft fence to get to you if she can see you. She will not go over a 5ft fence but of course like all beagles should never be left outside unattended. Her last owner put this poor baby out on her own without any regard for her - won't you please consider giving this sweetie a true FOREVER home?!
